UXDA is honored to become the first UX design agency recognized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, the Ministry of Economics, and the President of Latvia as one of the leading companies in the "Export and Innovation Awards 2018».

Every year, the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) and the Ministry of Economics organize one of the most prestigious events in Latvian business community - the annual “Export and Innovation Awards”, celebrating the leading exporters and most innovative companies.

This was the fourteenth year that the competition “Export and Innovation Award" was held. The winners were praised by the patron of the competition - the President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis, Minister of Economy and the Head of the Investment and Development Agency, as well as other high standing officials.

The goal of the awards is to promote the competitiveness of companies to foster growth in the quality and quantity of exports, to generate products with high added value, and to accelerate innovation. The evaluation of companies took place in the following categories:

  • Leading Exporter;
  • Best Large/ Medium Exporter;
  • Best Small Exporter;
  • Innovative Product;
  • Import Substitute Product;
  • Industrial Design.

The evaluation of applicants was held in two rounds, including visits to the companies and presentations about the products nominated for each award.

UXDA was nominated and gained recognition in the “Best Small Exporter” category.

UXDA becoming the first UX design agency to be recognized in such a noble event is a solid acknowledgment of the power and importance of design not only by the leading entrepreneurs but also by the high standing officials.
