11 Years of UXDA: Entering a New Decade of Transformation

This year, UXDA turned 11. But this was never just about a birthday; it was about transition. The first decade of UXDA was about building the foundation—values, character, courage, quality and reputation. It was a decade in which, step by step, we grew from a bold vision into a company capable of influencing one of the most complex industries in the world: financial services.

The starting year of UXDA’s second decade was truly an intense one, full of growth and challenges. We partnered with four leading banks, each pursuing ambitious UX transformation and institutionalization goals. 

We reviewed over 500 candidates and chose nine exceptional talents to join our team the previous year. We started integrating AI into routine processes, accelerating both delivery speed and quality. We strengthened client data protection and elevated UXDA’s financial UX governance system to the next level.

The first year of a new decade is completed, and year 11 marks something new: not simply a continuation of what we have already achieved, but an invitation to step into a new level of maturity, impact and transformation. 


We celebrated this transition in the most beautiful way—with emotion, meaning and new experiences that brought us even closer together. And a small glimpse of that feeling can be shared through this video. 

A Celebration Designed as a Ritual of Transition

This year’s anniversary celebration was created not just as an event, but as an experience—one that reflected who we are becoming.

Together with our team and families, we celebrated this important milestone in an atmosphere filled with meaning, beauty and joy. Every detail of the evening was thoughtfully designed to symbolize the shift into a new decade.

A carefully chosen dress code elevated the atmosphere of the evening, while music contributed rhythm and emotion to the entire experience. One of the most symbolic moments was walking together through a portal that marked our transition into the next chapter of UXDA. Together with our team and loved ones, we also created a collective neural artwork that now lives in our office as a lasting symbol of this milestone. 

Another meaningful ritual brought the team together in a deeply tangible way: each person contributed their own unique puzzle piece, and together these pieces formed one whole—a powerful reminder that UXDA is shaped by every individual, yet becomes truly transformative when united as one system.

It was more than a festive moment. It was a shared statement that we are entering a new era together, stronger than ever.

Throughout the evening, we experienced many moments that made this celebration unforgettable. We created together, reflected together, raised special cocktails to the future and sang karaoke with the kind of freedom and laughter that only comes when people genuinely enjoy being together.

One of the most powerful moments of the evening was a breathtaking aerial performance, created with deep intention by UXDA’s founders, Alex and Linda. It embodied our vision for the next decade—the mission we want to pursue as a company and in partnership with our clients. It was artistic, emotional and symbolic of movement, elevation, trust and transformation.

Celebrating With the People Who Make it All Possible

What made this celebration especially meaningful was that it was built not only for the team, but also for their families who support this journey every day.

At UXDA, we know that growth is never achieved alone. Behind every bold step, every late night, every breakthrough, there are people who believe, support and stand beside us.

That is why this celebration embraced families and children as an important part of the experience. While the adults enjoyed the evening, the children had their own joyful world to explore—with animators, creative activities and even cookie decorating, including special treats inspired by the number 11.

It reminded us of something essential: transformation is strongest when it is shared.

The Spirit of Breakthrough

A very special part of our birthday celebration was also one of UXDA’s most meaningful traditions — the Breakthrough Award ceremony.

For the fifth year in a row, we honored those individuals whose courage, dedication and contribution have created meaningful breakthroughs within our company. 

This year, the ceremony featured three categories: Gratitude for Dedication, presented to 12 team members; Excellence Recognition, awarded to six team members and the most significant moment of all, the Breakthrough Award 2026, which was given to four outstanding team members this year: Andrew, Tamara, Oksana and Inese. These are the people who do more than perform well. They challenge limits, shift mindsets, create momentum, and create the breakthroughs that fuel the company’s growth and transformation.

At UXDA, the Breakthrough Award carries a unique significance, as it represents the very foundation on which this company has been built. UXDA was never shaped by routine or by staying within the boundaries of what feels safe. It has been built through continuous evolution—through the courage to question, to improve and to move beyond what is familiar in order to create meaningful progress. This mindset has been fundamental to our journey so far, and it will remain essential in defining the decade ahead.

From Digital Products to Institutional Digital Excellence

The world of finance is changing faster than ever. Artificial intelligence, automation, agentic systems, new trust models and evolving customer expectations are fundamentally reshaping the future of financial services. In this environment, institutions compete not only through products or features, but through the quality, intelligence and emotional impact of the experiences they create. 

This is where UXDA’s role becomes even more significant—by helping financial brands not only craft better digital products, but also navigate transformation on a deeper level through systemic UX governance, digital strategy, service logic and customer-centered innovation.

A dimension where design is recognized not as decoration, but as a strategic force. Where UX goes beyond interfaces to reshape how institutions create value. And where UXDA not only responds to change, but helps lead it.

1 + 1 = 11

This year’s anniversary was inspired by an idea that captures the essence of UXDA’s new chapter: 1 + 1 = 11.

Not as mathematics, but as philosophy.

  • When strategy connects with design, something new emerges.
  • When business goals connect with human needs, experiences are created that competitors cannot copy.
  • When technology connects with humanity, trust is born.
  • When a team connects as one system, transformation becomes possible.

This is the state we are entering now.

And that is why this 11th anniversary mattered so deeply. Because it was not only a celebration of what we have built; it was a declaration of what we are ready to become.
